Sr. Rose Pacatte, FSP Date: Friday, April 24 2009 Time: 2:45 PM to 4:45 PM Sr. Rose Pacatte, FSP, is the Director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies in Culver City, California, and an award winning author and film/TV critic for St. Anthony Messenger. She received her MA in Education in Media Studies from the University of London (UK) and a Certificate in Pastoral Communications from the University of Dayton. Additionally, she has authored and co-authored several highly regarded books on film and Scriptures. Her presentation, entitled, "Meeting Jesus at the Movies: Stories, Messages and Mystery", will look at a variety of film clips from major motion pictures through the lens of the Gospel mystery - offering suggestions to bring faith and values into conversation with cinema...all leading to an authentic experience of "cinema divina".
